CBD - A New Way To Take Your Coffee

CBD (cannabidiol) products have become a well known supplement we can choose to add into our daily routines.  Whether ingested or used topically, there can be no denying the superb benefits this age old remedy can bring.

CBD is derived from the hemp plant, along with the also popular cannabinoid, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).  There is a significant difference between the two, but both have therapeutic properties.

CBD is a non psychoactive compound.  This means that once ingested, it will not give the euphoric, mind-altering sensations THC is renowned for.

However, after many years of study and research, it has become apparent that many ailments and illnesses can be treated with CBD.

Some are reserved about using CBD as a remedy because of the confusion with THC.  THC does have a psychoactive effect which is undesirable to some who are looking for pain relief, or just a general feeling of well being without the feeling of being 'high'.

CBD is safe to use and non-addictive.  It can be ingested in oil or flower form.  It is usual practice to buy CBD oil in a dropper bottle.  There are different strengths of CBD available, and THC present can be no more than 0.2%, (sometimes 0.3%) in some countries.  The dropper bottles are small and convenient to carry around for use when needed.

European Regulations and Guidelines ensure the cultivation and production of CBD products follow stringent rules to allow safe use.

CBD flowers are popular too.  They can be added into food or drink, and even smoked in pre-roll form, (without the harmful tobacco of course!).

There will always be novel ways to take CBD, and one new way is to add it into our daily coffee fix.

Choosing a coffee from our local coffee shop can be a daunting, albeit a pleasurable experience.  There are so many different ways to drink our much- loved beverage.

It doesn't matter how you take your coffee, CBD oil will blend beautifully with it.  As coffee has quite a rich and full-bodied aroma, it would be hard to smell CBD oil once added.  Also because coffee is initially black the colour won't change with CBD oil added.  Some CBD oils available have a pale green colour.  Here at Hempire Gardens, our CBD isolate is colourless and odourless, which is perfect for those who are visually influenced.

Ideally one to two drops is enough to have a beneficial effect.  Administered underneath the tongue is a quick way to get CBD into your system, and bring relief to pain and discomfort.

If you prefer, however, a couple of drops added to a cup of coffee would be pretty difficult to detect.  The benefits are undeniable, whether it is to remedy a health complaint or just for general well being.

Our first morning coffee is probably the most enjoyed drink of the day.  Taken with just a couple of drops of CBD oil it turns into a powerhouse.  Relieving anxiety and stress, our morning coffee hit infused with CBD can improve focus and energy.

CBD is known to work with the receptors in our brain.   It calms the mind and body, so combined with our coffee it's like a hug in a cup.

CBD is also verified by the World Health Organisation which is good to know, and can be enjoyed in the knowledge it does not harm health.
