CBD (CANNABIDIOL) and Diabetes

CBD can heal Diabetes, a common, lifelong condition.  It can occur when the blood sugar level is high.

There are two types of diabetes, Type 1 and Type 2.

Type 1 diabetes is where the body's immune system attacks and destroys the cells that produce insulin.

Type 2 diabetes is when the body does not produce insulin. Also, it can be that the body's cells don't react to insulin.

Typically, Type 1 diabetes can happen rather quickly.  Sometimes it can develop in days or weeks.

On the other hand, Type 2 diabetes can go undetected for some time.  This is because the symptoms are quite general, i.e. feeling tired, going to the toilet more frequently.

Insulin is a hormone that is produced by the pancreas.  The amount of sugar in our blood is controlled by Insulin.

Insulin moves glucose out of the blood and into our cells when we have eaten.  It's here that our energy or fuel is produced.

However, those suffering from diabetes are unable to break down glucose and turn it into energy.  There are two factors why this doesn't happen.  One being that there isn't enough insulin, the other being that the insulin does not work properly.

There are lifestyle changes one can make to improve sugar levels.  A healthy diet, regular exercise and a refreshing sleep all can help.

Sometimes lifestyle changes are all that is needed to correct Type 2 diabetes and manage the condition.

However, lifestyle changes will not lower the risk of Type 1 diabetes.

There are many different medications to treat diabetes, and all will depend on which 'Type' you have.

Many people will look for alternative remedies for diabetes, and some will turn to CBD flowers and oils.

The humble hemp plant has been around for centuries, and today it is being recognised more and more as a good cure for a plethora of ailments.

The European Hemp Market has seen sales of CBD flowers and oils rocket in recent years.  There is no end to the personal care products available on the market, from shampoo, the skincare.

For medicinal purposes CBD oil is quite popular.  A few drops administered under the tongue regularly has been beneficial to many.

CBD flowers are great for using in our diets.  Adding CBD flowers to salad dressings, sauces and soups is a convenient way to enjoy this supplement.  CBD flowers also bake well, so can be added into cakes and bread.

In recent studies CBD was shown to reduce insulin resistance and moderate blood sugar in those with Type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes is inflammatory, so using CBD flowers and oils could help as they are anti-inflammatory.

CBD flowers and oils are safe to use, and are not addictive.

CBD, also known as cannabidiol is non-psychoactive, which means it will not get you 'high', unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).
